The Rockets have secured the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference at this point, with a record of 52-27 entering today. It’s been a very successful season for Houston, winners in eight of its last 10, including three in a row.

At this stage of the 2024-25 campaign, every game is extremely important for the Clippers. A strong finish in this final week of the season could mean a top-five seed in the playoffs, but a bad week could mean having to compete in the Play-In Tournament.

As such, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Houston rest certain pieces in this one. Conversely, the Warriors have a ton to play for and will put their best foot forward tonight, no matter what.

Following this contest, the Rockets will remain in Los Angeles for a matchup against the Lakers on Friday night in what will be one of the best games of the week. Meanwhile. The Clippers will hit the road to take on the Sacramento Kings that same night.
