How to Watch Rockets at Kings: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

The Houston Rockets go for an undefeated run in group play of the NBA Cup against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.

Heading into the final day of group play in the 2024 NBA Cup, the Houston Rockets (15-6) are one of just six undefeated teams. Houston also boasts the second-best win differential in group play, clinching West Group A. They wrap up things against the Sacramento Kings (9-12), who are the polar opposite. Sacramento is one of just six winless teams in group play and have been outscored by 25 points in three games. Things are clicking in Houston with Alperen Sengun, Fred VanVleet and an array of dynamic young wings for head coach Ime Udoka to throw on the court in any situation.

In Houston’s last win VanVleet went off for a season-high 38 points, splashing home five three-pointers while going 13-of-14 from the free throw line. The 38 points were VanVleet’s second highest scoring total in Houston and the sixth time overall he has scored that many points in an NBA game.

For Sacramento this season something has not been working since the team started 8-6 through the first 14 games. Since then Sacramento is just 1-6 overall with an offense struggling to get to 110 points in games. The offense that was once the team’s identity and borderline historic, has fallen to just 12th in the league in points per game.

The quartet of De’Aaron Fox, DeMar DeRozan, Domantas Sabonis and the dynamic bench scorer Malik Monk are combining for 86.5 points per game, while the rest of the roster is only contributing 27.7 points per game collectively. If the offense isn’t working in Sacramento the team is in trouble beyond a winless NBA Cup run.
