The Sacramento Kings are trying to avoid a four-game losing streak when they travel to take on the Phoenix Suns on Friday.

The first game of the season in November was a close one ending in overtime but the Kings dominated Phoenix just three days later when they returned home to host the Suns. This one should be closer as four games separate these two, with the Suns looking in and sitting in the 11th seed in the West. Phoenix is trying to avoid losing four of their last five but should be the favorite at home tonight. The Kings meanwhile have already lost four of their last five and are trying to end a three-game losing streak. The Suns are trying to avoid a three-game losing streak. Phoenix is coming off an 111-104 loss against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Jalen Green led the game with 29 points while Bradley Beal led Phoenix with 25. The biggest headline of the game though was Steven Adams of the Rockets and Mason Plumlee of the Suns getting ejected from the game for fighting. Adams may have wrestled Plumlee to the court, but Houston wrestled Phoenix into a dominating defeat with the Suns trailing by double digits for most of the game. This was a game after Phoenix lost a two-point heartbreaker against a tough Memphis squad.

Sacramento is coming off a blowout loss and will play on back-to-back nights after losing 130-104 on the road against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. Stephen Curry hit a tremendous milestone in the game, reaching 4,000 three-pointers in his illustrious career. Curry is the first player ever to reach that mark, and it was the Warriors’ sixth win in a row. DeMar DeRozan led the game with 23 points, but the Warriors tied the season series 2-2. Domontas Sabonis is still out missing his sixth straight game with a strained hamstring. He is listed to return to action against Phoenix.
