The Pacers got off to a 2-16 start before their recent uptick as they play this season without playoff standout Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles’ tendon) and continue to play without Aaron Nesmith (knee). Sacramento snapped a four-game skid on Saturday night, playing without Domantas Sabonis (knee) and Dennis Schröder (hip).

The Kings picked up their first double-digit victory of the season on Saturday night, cruising to a 127-111 road win over the Miami Heat behind 42 points from Zach LaVine. Keegan Murray added 16 points and Nique Clifford had 15 points off the bench. Rookie Maxine Raynaud went for 12 points and 10 rebounds and veteran Russell Westbrook finished with 12 points, 10 assists and four steals.

Indiana got a season-high 36 points to go with 10 rebounds from Pascal Siakam as they handled the Chicago Bulls 120-105 on Friday night, its second win in seven days over the Bulls. Bennedict Mathurin added 28 points while Andrew Nembhard contributed 15 points, seven assists and three steals. Jay Huff played a big part with 11 points and five blocked shots.

Siakam averages 24.5 points and 7.1 boards for the Pacers, with Mathurin scoring 21.2 points per game and Nembhard putting up 17.2 points and 6.3 points a night. Huff leads the NBA with 2.4 blocks per outing. LaVine averages 20.9 points for Sacramento, which gets 17.9 points per game from DeMar DeRozan, 16.4 points and 7.1 boards per contest from Murray and 13.4 points and 7.0 assists nightly from Westbrook.
