The last time the LA Clippers (48-32) and Sacramento Kings (39-41) showed off why they are not only in-state and conference rivals, but divisional rivals. The Pacific Division foes needed overtime and a Kawhi Leonard buzzer-beater to pull off the win. That win came early in Los Angeles current run where it has won 16 of the last 19 games. They head into this game on a six game winning streak with four games against teams competing for the playoffs. Los Angeles has entered the Western Conference playoff race as a true wildcard. Leonard and James Harden could rise as high as third in the conference or slip down to eight depending on how the final two games of the season end.

In the 111-110 win for Los Angeles a month ago Leonard finished with 17 points on 7-19 shooting, but found the bottom of the net when it counted. James Harden led the way with 29 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds in the win. Ivica Zubac added another double-double to his resume with 22 points and 14 rebounds.

Sacramento saw DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine combined for 61 points to lead the offense in the loss. DeRozan finished with 31 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds while LaVine went for 30 points.

They control their fate heading into the final two games of the season. Sacramento just needs one win to clinch the nine-seed in the Play-In Tournament. That would give them a home game against the Dallas Mavericks, who they swept this season, and a real chance to make the playoffs after missing out last season.
