This is the final game of this two-game season series between the Lakers and Wizards. The Lakers beat the Wizards just nine days ago in dominating fashion by an 111-88 final where LeBron James notched a triple double to hand Washington its 11th loss in a row. The Lakers will still be the favorites on the road tonight with a -7.5-point line in their favor. The Wizards still haven’t won since last playing the Lakers and their losing streak is up to 15.

The Lakers are coming off a 118-104 loss to the Sixers on Tuesday with Tyrese Maxey going off 43 points. The win was even more impressive for Philly who was without Joel Embiid and Paul George. LeBron James scored 31 points but were hampered when Anthony Davis had to leave the game with a abdominal strain in the first half. LA will be without Davis for at least a week but it should still be expected to win this game against Washington.

Washington is just 6-40 on the season and most recently lost to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday at home, 106-82. Toronto is not having its best season but have been on a hot streak lately winning its fifth in a row after its win against Washington. Scottie Barnes had a game-high 24 points while Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 19 points. Washington really struggled with turnovers exceeding its season-high of 21 by the third quarter and finished the night with 27. It didn’t help that the Wizards only shot 16.7 percent from three. The best odds in the 2025 draft seem inevitable at this point for Washington.
