With that in mind, the Lakers will be the favorite entering this contest and is trending in the right direction. 

Conversely, the Warriors continue to fall in the Western Conference standings and are currently outside of the postseason picture as the No. 11 seed. Golden State has lost six of its last 10, but has a winning record at home this season. Overall, the Warriors are 22-22 to this point in the 2024-25 campaign.
