The win in Minnesota snapped a two-game losing streak for the Kings in recent play. The first of the consecutive defeats was a 117-104 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers last Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Center.

Malik Monk led the team in scoring with 21 points, while Domantas Sabonis put up 13 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists in the defeat away from home. DeMar DeRozan also added 19 points of his own on the night.

Then, Sacramento took a 34-point defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday at the Paycom Center. De’Aaron Fox, now on the San Antonio Spurs following a multi-team trade that also landed Zach LaVine with the Kings, led Sacramento with 20 points.
