Minnesota has a way with the Denver Nuggets. After coming back in Game 7 against the Nuggets in last year’s playoffs, the Timberwolves kept it rolling in Denver on Wednesday, winning 115-95. The Timberwolves went up on the Nuggets 3-0 in the season series in the process. Edwards led the dominating performance with 29 points and Randle scored 25. Minnesota held Denver to just 23.3 percent from three and 20 assists which is well below average for the league-leading Nuggets. Denver shot more than 60 percent in its previous game against OKC while shooting just 40.4 percent against Minnesota.

Orlando is coming off a dominating road win against the lowly New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday, 113-93. The Magic held a 30-point lead at halftime and didn’t let up much the rest of the way. Paolo Banchero led the game with 34 points and added 11 rebounds. The Magic shot more than 50 percent and weren’t sloppy with the ball, only committing eight turnovers. Minnesota will be a much more difficult test as Orlando tries to keep playoff positioning.
