    The Memphis Grizzlies (15-8) have quietly won eight of the last 10 games playing some of the best team basketball in the NBA. They have some of the best depth in the league built around the trio of Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane. That will be tested against the defending champion Boston Celtics (18-4) who are also playing elite basketball to start the season. Boston has the third highest scoring offense and the eighth best defense in the league. Memphis heads into this game with the second highest scoring offense this season setting the stage for an offensive explosion here between these teams who put up points in waves.

    Memphis’ offense is built around Morant, but also balance and team play. This season Memphis is the top assist team in the league (30.3 assists per game). They have eight players in the core rotation dishing out at least three assists per game attacking the defense from all angles.

    Morant has modified his game around this more balanced Memphis roster. He is only scoring 20.9 points per game after three straight seasons of scoring more than 25 points per game. Morant is also averaging a career-high 8.5 assists per game helping orchestrate the second best offense in the league.

    The depth and balance this season on offense also has nine players in the rotation scoring at least nine points per game. Jackson Jr. leads the way with 21.7 points per game while stuffing the statsheet with 5.8 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, 1.4 steals and 1.3 assists per game.
