Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers host the Brooklyn Nets in NBA action on Monday.

The high-flying Indiana Pacers (42-33) are coming off a huge win in their last game with the chance to go on a little run here at the end of the regular season. Monday starts back-to-back games against the Brooklyn Nets (29-46) who are all but eliminated from the playoffs this season sitting in 11th place, 5.5 games out of the Play-In Tournament standings. Overall Indiana has four games (out of seven) against teams under .500 this season and two more against teams right around where the team currently sits in the standings. Tyrese Haliburton and company have the potential to move up to as high as third in the Eastern Conference if the cards fall right down the stretch.

That will be easier said than done for an Indiana team that has not won more than two games in over a month, while Haliburton has been in-and-out of the lineup working through injuries.

With Haliburton in the lineup this season Indiana is 35-27 overall (7-6 without). Since the All-Star Break Haliburton has struggled to find a rhythm while working through injury. He only has 10 games with double-digit assists in 19 games, where before the break he had 33 in 43 games played.

Getting Haliburton off to the races is a key to the Indiana offense. He has had moments with Pascal Siakam since the team made a huge swing at the trade deadline to acquire the former All-Star, but the fit has been far from perfect. Those two have eight more games to gear up for the playoffs starting today.

    Regional restrictions may apply.
