How to Watch Pelicans at Timberwolves: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

The New Orleans Hornets and Minnesota Timberwolves will match up Wednesday for the first of two games over the span of three days.

It’s the first of two games between the New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center this week, as two Western Conference squads take the floor on Wednesday. Following this game, both squads will have a chance to regroup and make adjustments before matching up again on Friday.

The Pelicans still haven’t won 20 games this season, sitting second-to-last in the Western Conference standings at 18-51 on the season. They’ve lost eight of their last 10 games entering today and are 6-28 on the road this season overall.

Although they’re entering this game coming off a loss, the Timberwolves are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. They’ve won eight of their last 10 games and have climbed to 40-30 on the season. Interestingly enough, Minnesota is 20-15 both at home and on the road this season, finding similar levels of success regardless of the venue.

New Orleans’ injury misfortune has continued, as Trey Murphy recently suffered a season-ending injury. It’s been a brutal season in that respect for the Pelicans, as they’ve missed key players for significant chunks of the season, which has contributed to their poor record. Minnesota is getting hot at the right time and looks like a team that could carry momentum into the playoffs and win a series or two, regardless of final seeding.

Following this contest, the Pelicans and Timberwolves will both remain in Minnesota to take the court against one another again on Friday night. That will be the second contest in three days between these squads.
