Jalen Brunson leads the New York Knicks on the road against Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets.

The New York Knicks (3-2) are starting to build some chemistry after a rough outing in the season-opener. Since then they are allowing just 103.3 points per game, which would be third in the league. They look to keep rolling against the Houston Rockets (3-3) who fell just short of one of the most exciting comebacks in recent memory after falling behind 28 points at the half, then losing in overtime in their last outing. Houston will try to bounce back at home against a tough New York team that has rallied behind the play of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns in its last two wins.

Over the last two games New York has made an effort to get Towns involved in the offense. He shot just 18 times (3-6 from three) in New York’s first three games. Since then he has exploded averaging 32.5 points, 12.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game on 58-63-89 shooting splits.

With Towns rolling the New York offense looks formidable again. It has also opened up the floor for Brunson who has put up 29.0 points and 7.0 assists per game on 50-60-75 shooting splits over the last two games. Those two create one of the most effective duos in the league when on the same page.

For Houston the offense is built around balance with seven players averaging at least 9.7 points per game. They use balance and an unpredictable attack to surprise opponents with Alperen Sengun, Jalen Green, Fred VanVleet or the bench all capable of taking over games.
