Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder will take the court on Sunday in a series-deciding Game 7 against Nikola Jokic and the No. 4 seed Denver Nuggets.

The Denver Nuggets will head on the road to Oklahoma City to take on the OKC Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals in the 2025 NBA Playoffs. As the No. 1 seed in the West, the Thunder opened up the series at home after sweeping the No. 8 seed Memphis Grizzlies in four games in the first round. The No. 4 seed Nuggets advanced after going seven games with the No. 5 seed Clippers in the first round. They went on the road in Game 1 and won, 121-119. Nikola Jokic, an MVP candidate, dropped 42 points with 22 rebounds and six assists in 42 minutes.

Oklahoma City came back and dominated the second game, scoring 149 points at home and winning by 46 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, another MVP candidate, had 34 points to lead the game with eight assists. He shot 11-for-13 from the field and 11-for-11 from the free throw line. Heading back to Colorado, Denver took the 2-1 lead in Game 3 with a 113-104 win in overtime on the back of a 27-point night from Jamal Murray. Four players finished over 20 points in Game 3.

Game 4 was the lowest-scoring game of the series, with Oklahoma City coming back and winning by five, 92-87. Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokic each led their teams, with SGA getting the better with 25 points and six assists in the win. Knotted at 2-2, the series went back to Oklahoma City, where OKC took the 3-2 lead with a 112-105 win.

Gilgeous-Alexander led the team once again with 31 points, negating Jokic’s 44-point, 15-rebound night. Last Thursday, the series went back to Colorado with Denver evening the series 3-3 with a 119-107 win. Jokic finished with 29 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists. Game 7 is win-or-go-home with an opportunity to face the No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals.
