Edwards has felt the Oklahoma City defense in game one finishing with just 18 points and four turnovers on 4-13 shooting. He bounced back with 32 points and zero turnovers in game two, but it was not enough to even the series on the road.

For Oklahoma City through two games the defense has been elite and the offense has been fueled by its three young stars. Gilgeous-Alexander, the league MVP, is averaging 34.5 points and 8.5 assists per game. He has been complemented by All-NBA Third Team selection Jalen Williams and rising star Chet Holmgren.

Williams is averaging 22.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game on 50% shooting. Holmgren is playing his best basketball of the playoffs averaging 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on 53.8% shooting against Minnesota through two games.
