The Boston Celtics will look to get a victory on the second night of a back-to-back against the Philadephia 76ers. Watch free on Fubo.

In a battle between two teams who have seen very different levels of success this season, the Boston Celtics will host the Philadelphia 76ers tonight at TD Garden.

Despite boasting a top-three record in the NBA, the Celtics are still second in the Eastern Conference standings behind the Cleveland Cavaliers. Even then, Boston is a clear favorite to win another championship this season and will be a major favorite in tonight’s contest. Interestingly enough, they’ve been worse at home than on the road this season. But even playing its second game in as many nights, Boston will be expected to win today’s game.

The 76ers have wildly underperformed this season, sitting at 21-40 on the season and being outside of the postseason picture as of now. Philadelphia has dealt with significant injuries, but still has never been able to get into a rhythm. The Sixers have lost two in a row entering today, but will look to get a win over an Eastern Conference rival.

The Celtics are arguably the deepest team in the NBA, which was further quantified with the play of Derrick White and Payton Pritchard last night as they combined for 19 triples. Combine that with the two All-Star level players Boston has and it’s no surprise that the Celtics are a top team in the league. Both Joel Embiid and Paul George have missed quite a bit of time this season, which has made it difficult to get into a groove. Even then, Philadelphia has a lot to figure out this offseason as it relates to the future of the franchise.

Following this contest, the Sixers will match up with the Utah Jazz back at home on Sunday night. Meanwhile, the Celtics will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday in what should be one of the most competitive games of the week.
