The interesting thing about this matchup is the direct impact it will have on the 2025 NBA Draft. Houston owns Phoenix’s first round pick, meaning twice as much is on the line for the Rockets. If they win today, not only will it benefit them in the Western Conference standings, but it also increase the likelihood that the pick the Suns convey to them gets even better.

Following this contest, the Suns will head back to Phoenix to host the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. Meanwhile, the Rockets remain in Houston to play in-state rivals on Friday when the Dallas Mavericks come to town.
