How to Watch Portland Trail Blazers at Minnesota Timberwolves: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves host the Portland Trail Blazers for the first time this season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves (5-3) and Portland Trail Blazers (3-6) are about to get very familiar with each other over the five days. They play for the first time this season in Minnesota here and then play a back-to-back in Portland next week. The first game in Portland is also the first In-Season Tournament game for both teams. Heading into this game Minnesota is starting to heat up winning two games in a row and three of the last four overall. Anthony Edwards is playing great during this stretch and to start the season. He has at least 20 points and at least three made three-pointers in every game to start this season. With another game like that Edwards will match the second longest streak in NBA history with that statline.

Over his last four games Edwards is averaging 26.0 points per game on 51-53-69 shooting splits. He is scoring in more efficient ways as he and the team get used to Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo this season.

Those two are starting to find their footing in Minnesota after an offseason trade from the New York Knicks. The two are combining for 32.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game with Randle starting and DiVincenzo coming off the bench. Both players have found their way into the closing lineup around Edwards, Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels.

For Portland, the team is starting to get to full strength with former lottery pick Shaedon Sharpe back in the mix. He missed the first eight games of the season, but made an impact off the bench with 13 points on 6-9 shooting, 5-5 from inside the three-point line. Sharpe gives Portland another scoring option and playmaker on the wing.

    Regional restrictions may apply.
