On Wednesday night, the Toronto Raptors visit the Brooklyn Nets in an Eastern Conference matchup.
In the early window of Wednesday night’s NBA slate, the Toronto Raptors (25-47) visit the Brooklyn Nets (23-49) at the Barclays Center. It’s the third meeting of four total matchups between the two teams this season. They’ve split the first two, with both games having been played in Toronto. Now, Brooklyn will try to take the lead in the season series at home. Last year the Nets won the series 3-1 after sweeping four games the season before. However, the Raptors lead the all-time series 62-52.

The first matchup between the two this season was back in mid-December. Brooklyn won that game 101-94. Cameron Johnson led the way for the Nets with 33 points on 9-of-15 shooting and completed the double-double with 10 rebounds. The Nets significantly dominated the rebounding matchup in that game, grabbing 53 rebounds (including 15 on offense) to Toronto’s 34. No other Nets player had more than 12 points.
The second matchup took place on New Year’s Day. Toronto had one of its best scoring games of the season in that one, winning 130-113. That included a dominant 36-22 fourth quarter for Toronto.
Scottie Barnes led the way for the Raptors in that one. Barnes had 33 points, shooting an incredibly efficient 14-of-18 from the floor. Barnes also posted 13 rebounds. Gradey Dick added 22 points, and Immanuel Quickley scored 21.
