Jalen Brunson added 17 points and seven assists, while Precious Achiuwa had 15 points and 15 boards in 29 minutes off the bench.

The loss at home against L.A. snapped a five-game winning streak for New York, which saw the team get past the likes of the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets.

In the 122-112 win over the Nuggets on Wednesday night, the team was led by Brunson who put up 30 points and 15 assists. O.G. Anunoby added 23 points of his own in the win at Madison Square Garden.

Furthermore, against the Grizzlies, it was Mikal Bridges’ 28 points that led the team to a 143-106 thrashing at Madison Square Garden. Karl-Anthony Towns had 24 points and 11 rebounds in the win at home.

Finally, in the 143-120 win over the Kings on Jan. 25, Anunoby led the team with 33 points, but four of the team’s five starters scored at least 20 points to help secure the win at MSG.
