The Orlando Magic return home on Wednesday night to take on the Houston Rockets. The Magic are coming off a five-game road trip in which they went 3-2. In their last game of the trip they picked up a huge 108-103 win over a Clevaland Cavalier team who had won 16 straight. The win over the Cavs pushed the Magic’s record to 32-37 on the season and has them a half-game back of the Atlanta Hawks for first place in the Southeast Division and in eighth place in the Eastern Conference. The Magic have been led by Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner this season. The duo is averaging 25.1 and 24.3 points per game respectively. The Magic will hit the road to play the Washington Wizards on Friday, but will play five of their next seven games at home, including Wednesday.

The Rockets come into Wednesday on a seven-game winning streak and will be playing the first of two straight on the road. They will also head to Miami to take on the Heat on Friday.

The Rockets started the year 32-14, but lost 11 of their next 16 games and looked like they were fading. They have rebounded with the seven straight wins and now sit at 44-25 and are a game up on the Memphis Grizzlies for first place in the Southwest Division.

Jalen Green has been the team’s top scorer at 21.4 ponts per game, while Alperen Sengun is second at 19.1 points per game. Sengun is the team’s top rebounder at 10.5 per game.
