How to Watch Suns at Pelicans: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns take on Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.

The biggest game on the calendar Monday in the Western Conference features the eighth place Phoenix Suns (43-31) and the sixth place New Orleans Pelicans (45-29). With just eight games left on the schedule in the regular season for both teams every single game has more and more importance. New Orleans has quietly moved up the standings from the Play-In up to sixth in the conference. They are tied with the Dallas Mavericks and just two games behind the Los Angeles Clippers for fourth place and a potential homecourt playoff series in the first round. For Phoenix, despite having Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal all healthy, it is just 0.5 games out of ninth place in the Western Conference.

Since the All-Star Break Phoenix is just 10-9 with Durant featured in all 19 games, Booker in 15 and Beal in 15 games as well. The trio have struggled to make Phoenix more than a .500 team all season and have just a few weeks to make a playoff push.

For New Orleans, it has gone 12-7 since the All-Star Break riding the great play of Zion Williamson and the shooting of CJ McCollum. Over the last 19 games Williamson is averaging 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game as the offensive hub, making plays for himself and for his teammates.

McCollum has stretched the floor averaging 8.1 three-point field goal attempts per game, the second most in his career. Since the All-Star Break McCollum has averaged 18.6 points per game on 39.7 percent shooting from three opening up the offense for New Orleans to climb the standings.
