After squaring off in a close game on Sunday, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder meet again on Monday.

All eyes were on the Target Center on Sunday night when the Minnesota Timberwolves (31-27) hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder (46-10) in the league’s primetime game. It was a close game throughout, with the Thunder ultimately coming away with a 130-123 win. It turned into a battle of stars, as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander outdueled Anthony Edwards, scoring 37 points to Edwards’ 29. Fresh off that game the teams will meet again just 24 hours later, this time at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City for the second half of a home-and-home back-to-back.

This is also the third time in four games these teams are facing off. They also met last Thursday in the final game before the NBA All-Star break. Minnesota won that game 116-101 thanks in part to a 27-point, 14-rebound, 7-assist game from Naz Reid.

That loss to the Timberwolves before the break is the Thunders only defeat in their last nine games. With this current run Oklahoma City has built up to a 9.5 game lead in the Western Conference heading into play on Monday.

There was also a matchup between these teams back on New Year’s Eve. That was another single-digit scoring outcome, as the Thunder pulled off a 113-105 victory behind 40 points from Gilgeous-Alexander.

Tip-off Monday night is set for 8:00 p.m. ET. Catch the game on FanDuel Sports Network Kansas City.
