The Thunder host the Raptors on Friday hoping to clinch a fourth straight win. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

Western Conference leader Oklahoma City has won its last three fixtures against Toronto heading into Friday’s face-off between the two franchises, with one in an infinitely better position as things stand. The Thunder (40-9) are shoo-ins to bag a priority place in the play-offs and are riding high on the wave of a three-win streak, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander enjoying monstrous form for Friiday’s hosts. Meanwhile, the Raptors (16-35) are hovering not far above the base of the Eastern Conference and need a serious boost in form sooner rather than later if they’re to have any chance of a play-off place.

Toronto would need nothing short of a minor miracle to make the post-season in its current shape, albeit having only just seen a recent spout of good form reach its end.

Darko Rajakovic’s side had won seven of eight games approaching the end of January, but the team now finds itself staring down the barrel of a third straight defeat.

Gilgeous-Alexander continues to enjoy another elite season on the individual level, typified by his recent 34-point in a decisive 125-96 win over Milwaukee.

Not to be content with that, however, he then went on to drop 50 in Wednesday’s dominant win over the Phoenix Suns:

The guard is averaging 40.7 points per game across his past seven games, making him one of the most in-form offensive players in the NBA right now.

What’s even more incredible is the fact he’s averaged just 34 minutes per game across that spell, highlighting just how prolific the player is when he is at work.

Daniel Theis isn’t expected to debut for Oklahoma here after just joining from New Orleans, while Chet Holmgren and Cason Wallace look likely to sit out due to minor injuries.

Jakob Poetl and Brandon Ingram are poised to miss out for Toronto, meanwhile, and concussion looks likely to rule RJ Barrett out for the travelling side.

Regional restrictions may apply.
