In the first game between the teams Toronto routed Phoenix 127-109 three weeks ago. Three different players on Toronto finished with 23 points in a well-balanced offensive attack, scoring the fifth-most points as a team this season.
RJ Barrett had another strong game with 23 points, seven assists and six rebounds in the win. Immanuel Quickley added his own 23 points, along with eight assists and six rebounds. Chris Boucher came off the bench for 23 points and 10 rebounds, finishing with his third double-double of the season.
Phoenix was led by Booker with 31 points and Beal with 30 points in the loss. Durant was held to 15 points on 5-of-15 shooting in the loss, his second lowest total of the season. The big three in Phoenix has struggled all season to find the right balance.
