The New York Knicks go for back-to-back wins and the season series sweep against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.

The New York Knicks go for four wins out of their last five games when they host the Portland Trail Blazers for the last time this season on Sunday. The last time these two played was an instant classic when the Knicks won 114-113 in Portland in overtime just over two weeks ago. Mikal Bridges led the game with 33 points and none was bigger than the 25-foot three-pointer he drained at the buzzer in the extra frame. The Trail Blazers are trying to get revenge and end a three-game losing streak tonight, but it will be difficult at Madison Square Garden where the Knicks are 24-12 this season, while Portland has the opposite record on the road.

New York bounced back nicely on Friday after a loss to the LA Clippers at home on Wednesday when they traveled to Milwaukee. New York beat the Bucks 116-107 with OG Anunoby taking over with a game-high 31 points. Anunoby scored 20 of those points in the fourth quarter to break away from the Bucks. New York swept the three-game series against Milwaukee with the win. The Bucks trailed as much as 17, but cut the lead down to two late in the third quarter. Despite this, the win was impressive for New York especially considering that the Knicks were without Jalen Brunson. The Knicks star is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s matchup.

Portland is trying to bounce back from a 128-107 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday. Zach LaVine had a game-high 29 points, while Deni Avdija led the Blazers with 24. Avdija has been a great pickup since acquiring him from Washington last summer. The small forward is averaging almost 23 points and more than 10 rebounds in March. He is shooting from great percentages too, hitting nearly 50 percent from the field and a whopping 46 percent from three. Portland just couldn’t stop Sacramento’s prolific shooting, as the Kings hit 64.9 percent from the field.
