LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers go for a sixth straight win against Lauri Markkanen and the Utah Jazz.

The Los Angeles Lakers (9-4) start a three game homestand against the Utah Jazz (3-10) riding high on a five game winning streak. The last three wins have come by five points a piece as LeBron James and Anthony Davis close out teams as well as any duo in the league this season. They will need to be on their game against upset-minded Utah who have played in five straight games that were in single-digits with less than four minutes to play. Despite sitting at the bottom of the standings in the Western Conference through 13 games Utah is a team that cannot be overlooked, pushing the best teams in the conference to the brink on a nightly basis.

James will look to pick apart this young Utah team to give Los Angeles a sixth straight win. Over his last five games James is averaging 22.2 points, 12.0 assists and 11.4 rebounds per game. He has notched four triple-doubles as well and has five overall this season. That already matches his season total from last season.

Davis has continued his monster season over the last five games averaging 29.0 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.4 blocks and 2.0 assists per game on 54-62-82 shooting splits. This season Davis is building a campaign for his first MVP.

This winning streak for Los Angeles started with a shift in the starting lineup moving D’Angelo Russell to the bench. Russell started 94 of his 101 games with Los Angeles since coming back two and a half seasons ago. Since becoming a reserve Russell is averaging 12.2 points per game on 46-40-83 shooting splits. More importantly for Los Angeles, he is plus 23.7 in his minutes off the bench helping the team win games.
