In that game Shaedon Sharpe came off the bench to lead Portland with 36 points, eight rebounds and five assists. The 36 points were not only a season-high for Sharpe, but a career-high, leading a bench unit that finished the game with 78 total points.
Scoot Henderson (16 points), Kris Murray (12 points) and Jabari Walker (12 points) also scored in double-figures, as the depth of young talent wore down Washington over the course of the game.
Washington was led by Jordan Poole with 24 points. Poole hasn’t put up incredible individual numbers for Washington during this two-game win streak, but has given the team a stabilizing scorer, shooter and clutch playmaker. One of those clutch plays was a game-winning logo three to sweep the Denver Nuggets.
