The Oklahoma City Thunder seek a third straight win as they host the Milwaukee Bucks in the season-series finale on Thursday.

The Oklahoma City Thunder go for the 2-0 season-series sweep against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night. Both the Thunder and Bucks are playing on back-to-back nights. Both teams are also coming off wins. The Thunder will be going for their third win in a row tonight as they look to pad their first-place lead in the Western Conference standings. This isn’t the season the Bucks were expecting, but they are on a nice little run right now, winning four of their last five games. This would be a huge upset for the Bucks if they were able to pull it off, given that the Thunder have lost only five games at Paycom Center this season. It doesn’t help Milwaukee’s cause that Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t expected to return to the lineup until after the All-Star break as he continues to rehab from a calf injury. These two played for the first time toward the end of January in Milwaukee, where OKC cruised to a 122-102 victory. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored a game-high 40 points with 11 assists and seven rebounds. The Thunder dominated despite missing Jalen Williams, Isaiah Hartenstein, Alex Caruso, Aaron Wiggins, and Jaylin Williams, all of whom were injured. Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 19 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists, but he wasn’t able to get enough support to keep it close. The finale tonight isn’t expected to be all that close with the Thunder holding a 12.5-point line to sweep the season series.

The Bucks are coming off back-to-back games in Orlando against the Magic, and they have split those games with a 116-108 win on Wednesday. Cam Thomas scored a game-high 34 points in just his second game for Milwaukee, after signing as a free agent after playing with the Brooklyn Nets. Kevin Porter Jr. added a triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists to bounce back from Monday’s 118-99 loss against Orlando. The Bucks overcame 31 points from Desmond Bane, who tied the game with three minutes left. Myles Turner and Thomas hit clutch threes in the final minute to ice the game.

The Thunder dominated on Wednesday, beating the Phoenix Suns on the road, 136-109. Williams scored a game-high 28 points, and Isaiah Joe added 21 points to win back-to-back games. The Thunder shot 58 percent from the field and 42 percent from three to breathe easy for much of the night. OKC led for at least 20 points for the entire second half. The Thunder still won despite missing SGA and Ajay Mitchell, who both were out with abdominal strains. It was Gilgeous-Alexander’s fourth missed game, and he still will be expected to be out until Feb. 20. Regardless, OKC is still the heavy favorite at home tonight.
