The Lakers are coming off a 119-110 loss against the Thunder on Monday. LA looked like it was going to contend with the best team in the league with a good shot of winning its fourth straight with a lead to start the fourth quarter. But the Thunder outscored the Lakers 26-19 in the final frame with OKC’s Jalen Williams leading all scorers with 23 points. LeBron James led the Lakers with 22 points and got into an intense exchange with his former teammate, Alex Caruso, who won a title in the bubble in 2020. It wasn’t enough to rally Los Angeles, and it doesn’t get much easier even at home tonight against the second-best team in the West.
