On Friday night, the Bulls welcome the Toronto Raptors (18-41) to the United Center in Chicago. Toronto has dropped four of its last five, including its last two. The Raptors didn’t have Scottie Barnes on Wednesday with a bruised left hip and Brandon Ingram remains out with a sprained left ankle. Chicago didn’t have center Nikola Vučević (calf) or guard Ayo Dosunmu (shoulder) on Wednesday.

The Bulls got as close as two on Wednesday night but couldn’t get over the hump in a 122-117 loss to the visiting LA Clippers. Josh Giddey went for 21 points and 12 assists and Zach Collins posted 21 points with 17 rebounds in the loss. If Vučević is unavailable, Coby White is the team’s top scorer at 18.0 points per game, with Giddey averaging 13.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists.

Toronto got thumped on the road Wednesday night, taking a 111-91 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Immanuel Quickley scored 18 points while RJ Barrett and Jonathan Mogbo each netted 16. Barrett leads the club with 21.8 points per game, with Jakob Poeltl averaging 14.1 points and 10.0 rebounds and Quickley getting 15.9 points and 6.7 assists a night.

Chicago has won the first two matchups with the Raptors, both in Toronto, and is scheduled to host them again on April 1.
