That really seemed to be the case when they traded for center Ivica Zubac from the LA Clippers before the trade deadline. The Raptors won Game 3 in mid-January, 115-101, to clinch the series. Brandon Ingram put up a game-high 30 points, while Scottie Barnes put up 26 points and 13 assists. Ingram hit two clutch threes late to cement the victory, and Toronto got up 39-18 in the first and didn’t have to look back.

The Raptors are coming off a 123-107 victory against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday. Ingram led the team once again with 33 points, while Immanuel Quickley added 24 points against the new-look Bulls, who are now led by Anfernee Simons. Toronto earned its 31st win of the season, which surpassed the 30 wins the Raptors had all last season. It was the Bucks’ first three-game winning streak of the season. Indiana struggled from three, shooting just 28 percent from behind the arc, and was outscored by 24 points in the second and third quarters in a game that wasn’t as close as the final score would indicate. The road only gets tougher for Indiana tonight.
