The Cougars are off to a red-hot start to the season as winners of their first four games to start the season 5-1 with a 2-1 conference record and a 2-1 home record. Houston was handed its first loss of the season by Texas Tech earlier this month, but bounced back with a conference win over Oklahoma State last week. Arizona, on the other hand, dropped its second game of the season to ranked BYU a week ago. The Wildcats are now 4-2 overall with a 1-2 conference record. Arizona dominated this matchup last season with a 27-3 win over Houston.
