UCF looks to snap a five-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon when it takes on Arizona

The UCF Knights host the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday afternoon looking to finally get back in the win column. They come into Saturday on a five-game losing streak after winning their first three games of the year. Two weeks ago they nearly upset undefeated Iowa State, but gave up a late touchdown to lose. Last week they struggled to stop No. 11 BYU and fell to the Cougars 37-24. The Knights have cycled through a few quarterbacks this year, but it hasn’t seemed to matter as they have struggled against major conference opponents. They did comeback to beat TCU earlier this year, but they sit just 1-4 in the Big 12. The schedule lightens up the rest of the way and they are hoping to take advantage starting with their game against Arizona on Saturday.

The Wildcats, though, are looking to come to town and pick up a big road win. They have also been struggling as they have lost four in a row and are also 1-4 in the Big 12.

They had some high expectations coming into the year after finishing last season playing great football, but they haven’t been able to live up to those hopes.

Quarterback Noah Fifita has played well at times this year and has thrown for 2,068 yards and 11 touchdowns. Unfortunately for the Wildcats he has also thrown 11 interceptions.

They need to get the better version of him on Saturday if they want to knock off the Knights and get their second conference win.
