Buffalo tries to go for another upset as it travels to take on UConn on Saturday afternoon.

Buffalo goes for its third win in a row to improve to 4-1 on the season but it must go on the road for this matchup against 2-2 Connecticut. Buffalo can definitely come out of this one victorious after a huge upset last week against No. 23 Northern Illinois. The Huskies previously beat No. 5 Notre Dame in the biggest upset of the young college football season. Buffalo beat NIU in overtime 23-20 last week when it came down to a 37-yard field goal to walk-off the game from Upton Bellenfant. Buffalo had a chance to win the game after the Bulls blocked the Huskies’ field goal attempt in the first drive of overtime. Buffalo pulled off a big comeback considering it was down 14-3 at half. Buffalo shutout out NIU in the third quarter and the Huskies were only able to score six points the rest of the game. Buffalo still has to stay alert even though it’ll have the most momentum as the Bulls are -5.5-point underdogs in this one.

UConn should be feeling good too as the Huskies go for back-to-back wins for the first time this season. Connecticut is coming of its biggest win of the season with a 48-14 drubbing of Florida Atlantic. The Huskies were up 27-0 before the Owls scored for the first time in the third quarter. UConn’s rushing attack was outstanding with both backs, Durell Robinson and Mel Brown each ran for 156 yards and the former scored two touchdowns. Uconn is the favorite at home today but it’ll have to stay on its toes with Buffalo being one of the best teams the Huskies have faced this season.
