With the home team looking to snap a two-game losing streak at FBC Mortgage Stadium, Central Florida hosts conference rival Cincinnati in Orlando on Saturday afternoon. After starting out the season hot, Central Florida has dropped its last two games to fall to 3-2 overall with a 1-1 mark in conference play. The Knights are 2-1 at home this season, while Cincinnati is an even 1-1 on the road this season. The Bearcats are also 3-2 overall with a 1-1 mark in conference play, and will now try to snap a two-game losing streak against UCF. The Knights won their second consecutive game over the Bearcats with a 28-28 victory last season.

Most recently, Central Florida battled in The Swamp with Florida but fell on the road by a final score of 24-13 in Gainesville last week. The loss snapped a 13-game winning streak against in-state foes for Central Florida in the first matchup against Florida since the Gasparilla Bowl in 2021. UCF quarterback K.J. Jefferson finished the game with 165 passing yards and another 19 yards on the ground.
As for Cincinnati, the Bearcats lost a shootout in Lubbock by a final score of 44-41 against Texas Tech last week. Quarterback Brendan Sorsby threw for a career-high 426 yards and four touchdowns, but kicker Nathan Hawks missed a 51-yard field goal as time expired to tie the game. Red Raiders running back Tahj Brooks finished with 172 yards and two touchdowns.
Central Florida will now host conference rival Cincinnati in Orlando on Saturday.
