No. 10 Clemson looks to continue to stay atop the ACC standings when it travels to take on Wake Forest Saturday.
The overwhelming favorite to win this game is undoubtedly Clemson who faces off against Wake Forest to kickoff college football action on Saturday. The Tigers are -20.5-point favorites even playing this game on the road. Clemson is already 3-0 in conference and are ranked No. 10 in the nation with a 4-1 record. But as we saw last week, with the No. 1 team in the land, that anyone can be knocked off by any team which was the case when Vanderbilt took down powerhouse Alabama at home. Don’t expect Clemson to take anything for granted though as it tries to hang with Miami at the top of the ACC standings. Clemson is coming off a big win against one of its biggest rivals beating Florida State last week 29-13. Cade Klubnik was efficient with 235 yards passing with two touchdowns. The game was never really close with Clemson jumping out to a 17-point lead in the first quarter and the Tigers had double the total yardage of FSU who dropped to 1-5.

Wake Forest is trying to get back to .500 with a win here today. The Demon Deacons ended a three-game losing streak with a gritty 34-30 win against North Carolina State last week. In that losing streak, the Demon Deacons lost two of those games by a combined five points. Wake Forest was finally able to push through and win a close one thanks to the heroics of Demond Claiborne. The running back had 20 carriers for 136 yards and three touchdowns. His last one came on a three-yard carry with just 1:01 left in the game to seal the deal after NC State went up 30-20 to start the quarter. The Tigers may be the favorites but either way, expect this matchup to be a high-scoring affair.
