Very few people might have circled this game before they started the season but this will be a game you just can’t miss based on some must-see players. Of course there is there is Shedeur Sanders who could be the first quarterback off the board in next year’s draft. But this game could be all about two wide receivers. There is Travis Hunter who is neck-and-neck with Ashton Jeanty in the early Heisman conversation. Hunter has six touchdowns on 587 yards but that is only one half of the story with the phenom playing both sides of the ball. Then there is Tetairoa McMillan for Arizona who has 742 yards with four touchdowns. This is likely to be a very high-scoring game and these two receivers will be a huge factor in that outcome. But watching Hunter cover McMillan will be worth the price of admission alone. Colorado is coming off a very close 31-28 loss to Kansas State to end a three-game winning streak. The Buffaloes got a late interception where they looked in great shape but the Wildcats were able to bounce back with QB Avery Johnson threw a late 50-yard touchdown pass to Avery Johnson with just 2:14 left in the game. Arizona is just a small -2 favorite in this matchup.

This is the first meeting between Arizona and Colorado as members of the Big-12 after moving on from the Pac-12 last year. Arizona is coming off a lopsided 41-19 loss against BYU. The No. 14 Cougars were able to dominate in large part because the Wildcats committed four turnovers to fall to 3-3 while the Cougars are still undefeated. McMillan still led the team with five receptions and 78 yards. Expect this game to be a close one after last year’s matchup ended in another close contest with Arizona edging out the Buffs 34-31. There’s no reason to think this division rivalry will cool any now that both teams have moved on to a new conference.
