Nevada looks to get back on track against Eastern Washington in Reno on Saturday.
With both teams looking to snap two-game losing streaks at Mackay Stadium this week, Nevada welcomes Eastern Washginton to Reno for a Saturday afternoon matchup.
After opening the season with a win over Monmouth, the Eagles have dropped their last two games to Drake and Southeastern Louisana, falling to 1-2 on the season. Eastern Washington is 0-1 on the road this season, with their win coming at home in Week 1. Nevada, on the other hand, has lost two in a row to drop to 1-3 on the season with an 0-2 record at home. The Wolfpack got their one win over Troy in the second week of the season. Nevada has won three-straight games over Eastern Washington, with the last matchup being in 2010.

Most recently, Nevada’s offense was blanked by Minnesota in a 27-0 loss to the Gophers last week. Darius Taylor ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns for Minnesota, who picked off Nevada quarterback Brandon Lewis three times. Nevada’s offense only managed 172 total yards in the loss.
As for Eastern Washington, the Eagles fell to Southeastern Lousiana by a final score of 28-24 last week. EWU had a second-half lead over SLU, but wasn’t able to hang on in the fourth quarter. Kakoa Vesperas threw for 243 passing yards and a touchdown in the loss.
