Florida will head on the road in Week 4 of the college football season to take on Mississippi State at the Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville, Mississippi, on Saturday afternoon in projected sunny and 80-degree weather. The Gators are 1-2 on the season and 0-1 in the Southeastern Conference through three weeks. They opened the year with a loss to ranked Miami (FL) 41-17 at home and followed it up with a massive win of their own against Samford 45-7 at home. Last week was their first SEC game against Texas A&M, also at home, and they lost 33-20 in a tight game. This will be their first time on the road this season. DJ Lagway leads the team under center with 541 yards and four touchdowns with three interceptions. Elijhah Badger has 11 receptions for 260 yards and a touchdown to lead the receiving corps. On the ground, Montrell Johnson Jr. has 33 carries for 166 yards and three touchdowns this season.

The Bulldogs head into Week 4 with a 1-2 record as well with this being their first game against a conference opponent. They opened up the year at home beating Eastern Kentucky massively 56-7. It all spiraled after that. They went on the road losing to Arizona State 30-23 before coming back home and getting trounced by Toledo 41-17 last week.
Blake Shapen leads the team under center and has had a great start to his season with 834 yards on 61 completions for seven touchdowns and an interception. The team’s leading receiver Kevin Coleman Jr.has 16 receptions for 268 yards and three touchdowns. Their offense is all passing as their leading rusher has just 88 yards on the season.
