Dylan Raiola and No. 22 Nebraska will take the field against Luke Altmyer and No. 24 Illinois on Friday night.
The No. 24 ranked team in the nation, Illinois, will head on the road in Week 4 of college football to take on the No. 22 ranked team in the country, Nebraska, at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Friday night. The Cornhuskers are 3-0 under freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola. They took down Northern Iowa to begin the season 34-3 before knocking off Deion Sanders and Colorado 28-10 in the second week. Last week, they destroyed UTEP 40-7. All three games this season have been at home in Nebraska. Raiola has 670 yards on 59 completions with five touchdowns and one interception. Dante Dowdell leads the ground attack with 31 carries for 184 yards and three touchdowns this year, but Emmett Johnson isn’t far behind with 12 carries for 124 yards and a touchdown averaging 9.5 yards per carry. Isaiah Neyor has been Raiola’s top target with 12 receptions for 187 yards and two of his five touchdowns.

The Fighting Illinois broke into the top 25 rankings this week after taking down Central Michigan 30-9 in the week previous. However, their big win came in the second week against No. 19 at the time, Kansas, 23-17. Week 1 they shut out Eastern Illinois 45-0. Similar to Nebraska, all first three weeks were at home with this being Illinois’s first road test.
Luke Altmyer, the junior quarterback, had 647 yards on 54 completions this season with six touchdowns and zero interceptions. Pat Bryant has been his go-to guy with 15 receptions for 235 yards and four of Altmyer’s six touchdowns. On the ground, Kaden Feagin leads the team with 173 yards on 42 carries with three touchdowns.
