Iowa goes for its third straight win on Friday night when it heads out west to take on UCLA
The Iowa Hawkeyes visit the UCLA Bruins on Friday night in a Big Ten showdown. The Hawkeyes come out west on two-game losing streak and playing their best football of the year. They have scored 40 and 42 points the last two weeks in blowout wins over Northwestern and Wisconsin. The wins come after they were upset by Michigan State and have pushed their record to 6-3 overall and 4-2 in the Big Ten. Last week they rushed the ball for 329 yards in a dominating win over the Badgers. Kaleb Johnson led the way with 135 yards and three touchdowns. Jaziun Patterson, Brendan Sullivan and Kamari Moulton all had at least 56 yards on the ground to help the Hawkeyes grind out the win. Brendan Sullivan started under center, but threw just 10 passes for 93 yards and a touchdown.

The Bruins will have to find a way to stop the suddenly potent rushing attack from the Hawkeyes if they want to have a shot at pulling off the upset.
The Bruins will also be going for the third straight win after picking up consecutive road wins over Rutgers and Nebraska.
They had lost five in a row and were winless in the Big Ten, but have played better over the last two weeks to get in their first Big Ten wins ever.
They will now get to play three of their last four games at home as they try and make a push for bowl eligibility. They currently sit at 3-5 on the season and will need to win three of their next four games to be able to play in a bowl.
