With both teams sporting perfect records in the early stages of the 2024 season, Navy hosts Memphis at Memoral Staidum in Annapolis for a Saturday afternoon tilt.
The Midshippmen have opened the season with two consecutive wins over Bucknell and Temple in convincing fashion. Navy is a perfect 2-0 on the year with both wins coming in Annapolis, while the Midshippmen look to stay perfect in conference play as well (1-0). Memphis, on the other hand, has opened its season a perfect 3-0 with wins over North Alabama, Troy, and an upset victory against Florida State. This is the 10th all-time meeting between the two schools with an even 2-2 record in Annapolis.

Most recently, Memphis became the last school to stun Florida State in a 20-12 victory over the Seminoles last week. The Tigers defense held Florida State to a season-low 238 total yards with four sacks and three takeaways. Quarterback Seth Henigan threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Memphis offense in the win.
As for Navy, it took care of business in a 38-11 blowout win over Temple before a bye week. Junior quarterback Blake Horvath rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns while adding 112 yards and another score through the air. Navy is now 2-0 for the first time since 2019.
