Navy will travel on the road in Week 10 of the college football season to take on Rice, an American Athletic Conference opponent, on Saturday afternoon at Rice Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Midshipmen are 6-1 overall this season and undefeated against teams in the American Athletic Conference. Their only loss this season came against the No. 8 ranked team in the nation, Notre Dame, last week, 51-14. They are 4-0 against conference teams, beating Air Force on the road, UAB on the road, Memphis at home, and Charlotte at home. They rose to the No. 24 ranked team in the country before last week’s loss. Blake Horvath, the junior quarterback, leads the offense under center. The 6-foot-2 starter has thrown for 976 yards and 10 touchdowns with two interceptions. He also leads the team in rushing with 93 carries for 750 yards and 11 touchdowns.
