The Northern Michigan Wildcats will head on the road in Week 6 of the college football season to take on the Grand Valley State in Allendale, Michigan, on Saturday night. The Wildcats come into this winless at 0-5 through the first five weeks of the season. They opened the year with a 35-7 loss at home against Minnesota Duluth before heading on the road to take on Kentucky Wesleyan 33-13 in Week 2. They stayed on the road in Week 3 and lost to UW-La Crosse 35-21 before getting taken down by Alma in their homecoming game at home 44-27. Last week, they stayed at home losing 63-14 against Saginaw Valley State. Aidan Hoard leads the team under center as their starting quarterback. He has 551 yards and four touchdowns with five interceptions this season. He only has a 39.18 completion percentage as well. Jahi Wood leads the ground attack with 334 yards and a touchdown. Michael Love is Hoard’s favorite target totaling 341 yards and four touchdowns on 18 receptions.
