Riley Leonard and No. 5 Notre Dame will take the field against USC on Saturday afternoon.

USC will travel to Los Angeles, California, in Week 14 of the college football season. There, they will take on the No. 5 ranked team in the country, Notre Dame at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Fighting Irish are 10-1 heading into this season finale contest. Their only loss this season came against Northern Illinois in the second week of the season by two points. They have since beaten several top-25 opponents, including Louisville, Navy, and Army. Notre Dame can not afford to lose this game if it hopes to stay in the College Football Playoff race.

As an independent, they are at a disadvantage because of the weight given to the top five ranked conference champions. However, if they pull off another win here, they will get an at-large bid. Former Duke quarterback Riley Leonard leads the team with 1,937 yards and 14 touchdowns with four interceptions through the air. On the ground, he has 671 yards and another 13 rushing touchdowns for Notre Dame.

The Trojans are 6-5 overall this season and 4-5 against teams in the Big Ten Conference. They picked up a win last week against UCLA on the road by six points, which gave them postseason bowl eligibility. That made two games in a row after they took down Nebraska at home by eight points in the game prior. They have won three of their last four weeks with a win against Rutgers in that mix as well.

Woody Marks leads the ground attack this season for USC with 192 carries for 1,100 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. NFL prospect Malachi Lemon leads the receivers with 532 yards and three scores.
