Ole Miss looks to stay in the top 10 and goes for four wins in a row when it travels to Florida to take on the Gators on Saturday.

Ole Miss is trending in the right direction at the right time winning its last three games and four of its last five heading into this big SEC matchup against Florida. Ole Miss has had two weeks off after a massive upset win against Georgia. Ole Miss held the then No. 3 Bulldogs to just 10 points in the decisive 28-10 victory. It looked like Georgia would run away with the game early scoring a touchdown quickly in the first quarter for the first points of the game but Ole Miss regrouped and shut down the Bulldogs’ offense. Ole Miss would go on to score 16 straight points and would only let up another field goal. QB Jaxon Dart threw a 10-yard touchdown dart in the third quarter to open up the game. Dart also led Ole Miss in rushing with 50 yards. Ole Miss will likely need a stronger offensive attack to come out of The Swamp alive. Regardless, Ole Miss is the clear favorite on the road with a -11 line.

Florida is coming off a big upset win beating No. 22 LSU 27-16 last week which brought back the Gators to .500 on the season. Quarterback DJ Lagway had a great return after missing the last two games and delivered Florida’s first series win against the Tigers since 2018. Florida was 1-10 under head coach Billy Napier in rivalry games before this LSU win and the Gators had lost eight in a row against ranked opponents. LSU only scored six in the second half after being tied at halftime. Florida is more than capable of pulling off this upset win against Ole Miss if the Rebels aren’t careful on the road. Florida is still alive to make a bowl game especially if it gets a win today.
