Penn State looks to win back-to-back games with the Nittany Lions being heavy favorites on the road Saturday against Purdue.

Purdue hosts No. 4 Penn State looking for a huge upset in their home season finale on Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions meanwhile are hungry heading in to this tuneup game where they are favored by 28.5 points. Purdue is just 1-8 on the season and it has yet to win a conference game. Penn State bounced back in a huge way last week after a narrow loss to Ohio State the week prior. The Nittany Lions beat Washington in dominating fashion by a 35-6 final. Penn State shutout the Huskies in the first half and only let up two field goals in the second in the convincing win. Tight End Tyler Warren was the stand out player of the game. He caught eight passes for 75 yards but it was what he did with his legs that set the Nittany Lions apart rushing for two touchdowns. Kaytron Allen nearly rushed past the century mark and ran for another touchdown. Penn State clearly has its set on the CFB Playoff and should be favored to win its three remaining games finishing the regular season against Minnesota and Maryland.

Purdue is trying to break an eight-game losing streak today after winning its season-opener against Indiana State. The Boilermakers would likely prefer to not recall any moment of their last game when they lost 45-0 against Ohio State last week. Buckeyes QB Will Howard was dominant throwing for three touchdowns and he rushed for another score.

Jeremiah Smith broke the OSU freshman receiving record with his ninth touchdown of the season passing NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter who had eight in 1984. This is the longest losing streak for Purdue since 2013 when it lost 10 straight. The road to victory doesn’t get any easier today.
