UNLV puts its undefeated record on the line on Friday night when it welcomes Syracuse to town

The UNLV Rebels host the Syracuse Orange for a Friday night battle in Las Vegas. The Rebels come into the game a perfect 4-0 on the season and ranked No. 25 in the latest AP poll. The Rebels lost quarterback Matthew Sluka to the transfer portal before last game, but it didn’t slow them down. Hajj-Malik Williams stepped in nicely and three for three touchdown passes and a rushing score to lead the Rebels to a 59-14 blowout win over Fresno State last week. It was a great performance for Williams and has the Rebels flying high. Friday they come in as a 6.5 point favorite over the Orange and are looking to show why to a national audience on Friday night. The Rebels have also done a ton of damage on the ground as they have rushed for 1,132 yards and 10 touchdowns through the first four games.

The Orange are going to have their hands full trying to slow down the potent Rebels attack if they want to come to town and get a big win.

The Orange have played well to start the season, but did get tripped up by Stanford in their third game. They struggled against the Cardinal in a 26-24 loss, but that is their only loss of the season.

All four of their games have been at home, though, and Friday’s game will be their first game on the road. They are going to get used to being away from home as they play the next three games and five of their next six on the road.

They are going to get tested and they are going to find just how good they really are this year over the next three weeks.

Regional restrictions may apply.
