The TCU Horned Frogs hit the road on Saturday night to take on the Baylor Bears. The Horned Frogs come into Saturday night on a two-game winning streak and 3-2 in the Big 12. It was a rough start to the year for the Horned Frogs as they lost two of their first four including blowing a huge lead to UCF and giving up 66 points to SMU. They have played much better since as they have won three of their last four and are coming off a big comeback win over Texas Tech last week. They trailed 34-21 last week to the Red Raiders, but they scored two touchdowns in just over three minutes in the fourth quarter to get the win. Josh Hoover led they way with his arm as he threw for 344 yards and three touchdowns. The big play was to Eric McAlister as they connected for an 84-yard touchdown pass.

The Bears also come into Saturday on a two-game winning streak and are now 2-3 in the Big 12 and 4-4 overall. They, like the Horned Frogs, had a tough start to the year but are playing better.

Last week they picked up a big home win over Oklahoma State in which they held the Cowboys to just 10 second half points to get the 38-28 victory.

Sawyer Robertson threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns in the win and Dawson Pendergrass rushed for 142 yards on just six carries to lead the way. The Bears racked up 345 yards on the ground to go along with the 222 through the air.

Robertson has now thrown for 1,541 yards on the season and 17 touchdowns. Pendergrass is second on the team with 362 yards on the year. Bryson Washington is the team’s leading rusher with 380 yards and three touchdowns.
